Terms of Service

Welcome to Run4Milk! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Run4Milk mobile application ("App") operated by Run4Milk ("we", "our", or "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Run4Milk, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Run4Milk is a collaborative shopping list application that allows users to:

• Create and manage shopping lists
• Share lists with other users
• Collaborate in real-time on shared lists
• Use AI-powered features for item suggestions and categorization
• Add items using voice input
• Track achievements and progress

3. Account Registration

To use Run4Milk, you must create an account using:

• Sign in with Apple
• Sign in with Google

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. User Conduct

When using Run4Milk, you agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use the App to distribute spam or malicious content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Content and Lists

Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you create (lists, items, notes, photos). By using the App, you grant us a license to store, display, and share your content as necessary to provide the service.

Shared Lists: When you share a list with others, they can view, edit, and add items to that list. You are responsible for who you invite to your lists.

Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

6. AI Features

Run4Milk includes AI-powered features:

• Smart Suggestions: AI provides item suggestions based on common shopping patterns
• Auto-Categorization: Items may be automatically categorized using AI
• Voice Input: Speech-to-text conversion using on-device processing

AI features are provided "as is" and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Run4Milk and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, and OpenAI. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We are not responsible for:

• Loss of data due to technical issues
• Actions of other users on shared lists
• Accuracy of AI-generated suggestions
• Third-party service interruptions

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RUN4MILK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Run4Milk operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
